What to expect on your first visit: The process of creating a lasting and meaningful relationship with our patients begins with the first phone call. Specific information is gathered about your needs and expectations in an effort to properly serve you. If time permits, you will receive in the mail prior to the first appointment a package containing registration and health history forms for you to complete and bring in at your first visit. Click here to download, the forms if that is more convenient. First Visit Your concerns and needs are our first priority; this will be the primary focus on your first visit. Many of our patient’s comment that they have never felt so understood or had such a complete examination as we routinely perform. Quality dental care combines the most advanced procedures and high tech equipment with individualized treatment. Various treatment options are considered before selecting the best one based on your needs. We strive to allay your fears and reduce any discomfort. We offer nitrous oxide to help relieve dental anxiety. You will appreciate our ability to work with you. When you leave our office you will know that you are in capable caring hands and you are on your way to a healthy smile. Second Visit This visit begins by reviewing the x-rays and photos for you mouth with Dr. Ford and the Treatment Plan Coordinator. Any conditions are noted and explained in detail. We believe strongly in educating our patients about their dental health. Your first exam included an examination of your teeth, gums, evaluation of the bit, TMJ evaluation and an oral cancer screening. Once we have explained the treatment needs we recommend solutions and ask the patient if they are ready to proceed. Our practice is different, we listen to our patients concern, we educate our patients in order for them to understand then we recommend treatment options with your physical, emotional, and financial needs in mind. This process takes more time and energy initially, but always saves our patients time in the long run and results in a health care experience that is appreciated, remembered, and passed on like no other. |
