Dr. Derek Ford has been practicing Dentistry since 1994 in Northwest Arkansas.  He is a native Arkansan who achieved his BS degree in Natural Science at the University of Arkansas.  Dr. Ford then went on to receive his dental degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.  He purchased his first office from an established dentist in Gentry, AR in 1995 and in May 2004 opened a second office in Bentonville.  Dr. Ford keeps current with the most recent dental technology through his continuing education.  His most recent continuing education is the completion a series of courses through the Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry.  This gives him advanced training in full mouth reconstruction and TMJ therapy.  

Dr. Ford has been married for almost 16 years to his beautiful wife.  They have two young boys Chandler and Cameron. Sometimes you can see them at the dental office during the summer helping dad by sharpening pencils, shredding paper and cleaning the lab.

David is a younger brother of Dr. Ford.  David brings with him 21 years of excellent customer service.  His motto is the "patient always comes first!" David is excited about his career move to the health care industry.  Since he began his work with us, he has completed several continuing education courses and gained his Registered Dental Assistant certificate and certification in CPR.  His goal is to leave each patient with a smile.  David spends his free time with his wife and young son.

Shana is the newest addition to our staff.  She previously worked for Ford Dental Care in 2002, but took some time off to raise her children.  Shana is a Registered Dental Assistant and certified in CPR.  She has lived in Northwest Arkansas for the past twenty years and is acquainted with many of our patients and their families.  Shana strives to help each patient feel comfortable and relaxed so that they get the most efficient and accurate dental treatment.  After hours, Shana enjoys building memories with her husband and children.

Shani has been with Dr Ford since the very beginning.  She works closely with Dr. Ford making sure the business of the dental practice runs smoothly.  You will also see Shani assisting at chair side when needed and answering the phone.  Shani works with us part time; her full time focus is taking care of her family.  She stays very busy with the two boys.  When away from the office Shani enjoys running and spending time with her family.
